Nick and Laura’s Salvage One Wedding

We know we have the best clients when they call to notify us that they will be surprising their dad with Portillo’s at the reception. Hanging out with Nick and Laura this past year has been like second nature. They’re the types that feel like old friends. On top of that, they wow-ed us with their beautiful details (seriously, we’ll be calling you when it comes time for our own weddings). Here’s to many years of joy, happiness, and Italian Beef!

Colleen and John’s Chicago Wedding

We met Colleen a few years ago, when we photographed her sister’s beautiful Chicago wedding. Probably one of the best weddings we’ve ever shot, because it has led us to get to know (and shoot) many of their friends and family’s weddings. We were so excited to hear from Colleen when she called to let us know her and John got engaged. They’re both wonderful, laid, back and stylish people, and it’s been such a joy to see their family grow throughout the years. We treasure relationships like these. Congrats to Colleen & John!

(On a side note, they’re cool enough to have had the Sun Times do a feature about their big day. Check it out!

Alison and Adam’s Revel Chicago Wedding

After Alison and Adams engagement session we couldn’t wait for their big day! Congrats to this great couple!

Emily & Eric’s Lombard Wedding

There’s a particular contentment about Emily & Eric that have made getting to know them so wonderful. Their wedding day had a classic romantic vibe that meshed really well with their style & personalities. We couldn’t be more grateful they chose us to document this chapter in their lives. Wishing you two the very best!

Michelle & Lee’s Ravenswood Wedding

We wish we could blog every single photo from Michelle & Lee’s wedding because every detail and every person was awesome. We knew that a wedding at the Ravenswood Event Center would be beautiful, but then Michelle showed up in an amazing dress, with perfect flowers, an outgoing bridal party unlike the rest (seriously, the guys went bowling? TOO GOOD), unique triangle decor left and right…and Lee’s killer chops. While we love some good eye candy and a well lit space, the best part about getting to know this couple was how laid back and comfortable they are with one another. They keep it simple and keep it real. Thanks for showing us a good time, all the time!
